The Aguirre Viscayan Foundation spearheaded the publication of the Complete Works of Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga with the aim of preserving and promoting the legacy of the Bilbao-born composer. This edition unites the surviving original scores and restores Arriaga’s music exactly as he himself conceived it, faithfully respecting the original without revisions or new arrangements.

The publication has been distributed amongst orchestras, conservatoires, universities and musical institutions throughout Spain and abroad, thus helping to keep Arriaga’s music alive and making it easier for musicians to study and perform his work.
